The 4th Annual CRP Big Event is a formal event filled with appetizers, desserts, drinks, networking and an awards presentation. The featured awards include Chamber Rising Professional of the Year Award, Mentor of the Year Award, Volunteer of the Year Award, and Committee Member of the Year Award.

The Chamber Rising Professionals, sponsored by the Greater Colorado Springs Chamber of Commerce and Big Brothers Big Sisters, will be hosting the 3rd Annual Spirit of the Season Celebration for underprivileged children within the Colorado Springs area. Last season we were able to answer the Holiday wishes for 69 children and 26 families. Children not only received new toys, games or books, they also received items such as clothing or other important hygiene products. All of the families left the Spirit of the Season with a cooler full of all the trimmings to make a delicious Holiday Dinner. During the holiday party, the children sat on Santa’s lap and even danced the Macarena with him. They had wonderful food to eat and carnival games to keep them busy. This year we would like to increase the number of families we help from 26 to 30.
