The Civic Engagement Committee focuses on Government, Public Policy and getting members involved on City and County Boards and Commissions. This committee’s goals are getting young business professionals engaged in the community, providing events where people will be excited and comfortable coming to, allow the potential for individuals to continue their networking circle and to connect young business professionals with the community at large. The Civic Engagement Committee is also responsible for the annual Chamber Rising Professionals volunteer day. This committee meets every third Tuesday of the month at 4:00 p.m. If you are interested in joining a committee please contact us at 719-575-4316.

Throughout the year, the Chamber Rising Professionals will be working to provide City and County board opportunities to our members. This will allow young business professionals to experience first hand the issues that business leader’s face and allow them to help develop solutions to these issues.
